Computer animation is being used extensively - both in the games industry, which has a high demand for animators and also in the film and television industries. Film studios are animating fight sequences that take too long to film with real actors, online games are being used for marketing and advertising as well as entertainment and students are learning via computer simulation using extensive animation.

The Degree furthers the development of specialised skills relevant to the animation industry. The program is designed to prepare graduates to undertake operational, development and managerial roles within the games and entertainment industries. Students will undertake specialised courses in 3D modeling, animation for
games, animation for film and television, scriptwriting and animation for virtual environments.

This program was developed by the famous QANTM
College in Brisbane, Australia and is designed to provide students with an
entry level understanding of the both 2D and 3D animation principles
and practice. Students are exposed to the processes of animation such
as live action referencing, storyboarding, texturing, lighting and
detailed model construction.
