Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree

This prestigious international degree is assessed and awarded by Middlesex University for Recording Arts, Digital Film Arts and Multimedia Arts. This Honours degree, emphasising creative media project work, is an ideal pathway to Masters and other postgraduate studies. For Animation and Games Programming students the internatinal degree is assessed and awarded by QANTM College.

Master of Arts Degree

Graduates of SAE Institute Singapore have direct access to postgraduate studies through SAE International Graduate College (SIGC). Admission to programs at this level is always competitive, but SAE graduates have privileged status in the process. The advanced professional practice and research Conferences convened annually by the SIGC in different parts of the world are held from time to time at Byron Bay thus providing postgraduate students with access to state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. Audio Engineering

This course offers students a thorough education of all aspects of audio engineering and is designed to train the future professionals of the audio industry. This highly practical course provides students with skills in all audio production-related areas and provides an excellent pathway into careers in post-production, surround sound (for film), audio engineering, mixing and assistant studio posts. SAE's degree programs also cover aspects of business management, marketing, legal and contemporary issues.

Digital Film Making

This major focuses on a combination of traditional and modern production and directing techniques, video post-production, digital film technology and computer-aided production. It combines traditional camera and lighting techniques with digital editing and compositing, utilising industry-standard software. This program develops the skills required of todays TV and film professionals. SAE's degree programs also cover aspects of business management, marketing, legal and contemporary issues.

Animation (Qantm)

This major focuses on the development of specialised skills relevant to the animation industry. The program is designed to prepare graduates to undertake operational, development and managerial roles within the games and entertainment industries. Students will undertake specialised courses in 3D modeling, animation for
games, animation for film and television, scriptwriting and animation for virtual environments.

The degree program will focus on the specific areas critical to developing knowledge and skills in animation for interactive entertainment. It also develops the understanding of relevant aspects of business management and legal matters as well as communication and research skills.

Games Programming (Qantm)

This major focuses on specific areas that are critical to developing knowledge and skills in games programming for interactive entertainment. This program is designed to prepare graduates to undertake operational, development and managerial roles within the Interactive Entertainment industries.

Learn C++ programming and work with mathematical functions and  artificial intelligence to design and program games for a variety of devices. Students opting for major studies in games programming will undertake specialised courses including character development, scriptwriting, games design and agent systems.
